IMW 2021 | Women in myeloma

Maria-Victoria Mateos, MD, PhD, of the University of Salamanca, Salamanca, Spain, and Irene Ghobrial, MD, of the the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, share some advice for women interested in the multiple myeloma field. Dr Mateos explains the importance of becoming involved in clinical and translational research, and Dr Ghobrial talks on the significance of mentors in supporting and encouraging women to become leaders in the field of myeloma. This interview took place during the 18th International Myeloma Workshop (IMW 2021) congress.
