Efstathios Kastritis, MD, University of Athens School of Medicine, Athens, Greece, discusses a pilot study evaluating a peripheral blood NGS liquid biopsy approach for genomic profiling of monoclonal gammopathies and multiple myeloma. He highlights the correlation between liquid biopsy and bone marrow findings, the ability to detect additional genetic alterations, and the potential for blood-based testing to complement future disease assessment. This interview took place at the 31st Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) in Stockholm, Sweden.
