Karthik Ramasamy, MBBS, MRCP, FRCPath, PhD, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Oxford, UK, discusses the importance of vaccination and infection prevention in patients with multiple myeloma, highlighting the increased rates of infection observed in recent years with the introduction of novel immunotherapies.
