Karthik Ramasamy, MBBS, MRCP, FRCPath, PhD, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Oxford, UK, discusses baseline findings from patients enrolled in the SECURE study (NCT05539079) with incidentally detected monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS) in the UK. He highlights that most patients were identified in secondary care rather than primary care, with rheumatology, renal and musculoskeletal services among the common settings, and that the cohort was older and had more comorbidities than screened MGUS populations. This interview took place at the 23rd International Myeloma Society (IMS) Annual Meeting in Glasgow, UK.
