AVC-201: a CAR-T using a switchable module in AML

Marion Subklewe, MD, Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Munich, Germany, presents emerging CAR T-cell therapies in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), including Phase Ia data from the RevSTAR-123 trial (NCT05949125) of AVC-201, a first-in-class CRISPR-engineered allogeneic switchable CD123-directed CAR T-cell therapy, in patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) AML. Prof. Subklewe highlights the promising activity of AVC-201, noting robust CAR T-cell expansion and a manageable safety profile, with the trial continuing into the Phase Ib portion. This presentation took place at the 8th International Workshop on Acute Leukemias (iwAL) in Cambridge, MA.
