COMy 2022 | Collaborative sessions at COMy

Mohamad Mohty, MD, PhD, Saint-Antoine Hospital, Paris, France, briefly discusses some of the collaborative sessions held at COMy 2022, including those with the Intergroupe Francophone du Myélome (IFM) and the International Myeloma Society (IMS). Prof. Mohty also highlights the importance of these sessions in bringing the myeloma community together and accelerating research in the field. This interview took place at the 8th World Congress on Controversies in Multiple Myeloma (COMy) 2022, held in Paris, France.

We’re very proud having different collaborative sessions. We had a session with the IFM, the Intergroup Francophone du Myélome, because the meeting is held here in Paris. But we have also a joint session with the IMS, International Myeloma Society. This is really very important because I think the myeloma community is really united and the IMS provides the right umbrella, actually, to federate, to put together all the stakeholders involved in multiple myeloma, to accelerate research in order to improve the patient outcome but also survival, and, hopefully, allowing to cure more and more patients...
