EHA 2022 | The importance of patient-reported outcomes in clinical trials & clinical practice

Anna Sureda, MD, PhD, Catalan Institute of Oncology, Duran I Reynals Hospital, Barcelona, Spain, discusses the importance of including patient-reported outcomes in prospective clinical trials and in clinical practice. Dr Sureda explains that in clinical practice, a treatment that is better tolerated and has a lesser impact on the patient’s quality of life (QoL) is usually favored. This interview took place at the European Hematology Association (EHA) Congress 2022 held in Vienna, Austria.
