Aimee Green, The Christie NHS Fund, Manchester, England, comments on the challenges faced by oncology allied health professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Allied health professionals have had to find new ways of delivering care due to restricted face-to-face interactions with patients and limited access to equipment and quiet spaces. Visiting restrictions also resulted in patients needing additional support from allied health professionals throughout treatment. In addition, the uncertainty of the pandemic meant that allied health professionals have had to be flexible. This interview took place at the EBMT-EHA 4th European CAR T-cell Meeting which was held virtually in 2022.
