Christian Chabannon, MD, PhD, Paoli-Calmettes Institute, Marseille, France, outlines the key topics that will be discussed at the symposium on the latest advances in cell therapy that is being held at this year’s EBMT congress. Prof. Chabannon explains that the symposium will focus on the feasibility of decentralized CAR-T manufacturing, developments in next-generation CAR-Ts, and how to increase the efficacy of allogeneic transplantation whilst reducing the risk of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD). This interview took place at the 49th Annual Meeting of the European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) held in Paris, France.
