IMS 2026 | DART trial: dasatinib and quercetin in patients with R/R multiple myeloma receiving CAR-T therapy

Yi Lin, MD, PhD, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, discusses the Phase II DART trial (NCT06940297) evaluating the senolytic agents dasatinib and quercetin alongside ciltacabtagene autoleucel (cilta-cel) in relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. She highlights the rationale for targeting senescent-like myeloma cells and notes that the six-patient safety run-in showed no severe adverse effects or apparent impact on CAR T-cell expansion, with encouraging early rates of dual MRD and PET negativity. This interview took place at the 23rd International Myeloma Society (IMS) Annual Meeting in Glasgow, UK.
