EHA 2026 | MRD assessment and biologic risk stratification shape personalized care in ALL

Marlise Luskin, MD, MSCE, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, discusses the growing importance of measurable residual disease (MRD) assessment and biological risk stratification in modern acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) care. Dr Luskin highlights how advances in genomics, sensitive MRD testing, and novel therapies are helping guide treatment selection, intensity, and response monitoring, with the goal of delivering more personalized and effective care for patients with ALL. This interview took place at the 31st Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) in Stockholm, Sweden.
