Academic History

Marlise Luskin, MD, MSCE, is an Assistant Professor at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, and serves as an Associate Program Director of the Dana-Farber/Mass General Brigham Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program and Education Director for the Adult Leukemia Program.

She attended the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA, from which she obtained her medical degree in 2009. She then completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA, in 2012. Later, she completed her fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, where she also served as Chief Fellow and earned her master’s degree in clinical epidemiology.

Speaking on novel treatments for acute leukemia and related blood cancers

Dr Luskin’s key research interests lie in the study of acute leukemias and related blood cancers. More specifically, she conducts clinical trials of novel agents as well as clinical epidemiology and outcomes research for patients with these diseases. Dr Luskin has already led several clinical trials and conducted numerous epidemiological studies.
