EHA 2026 | Venetoclax combinations show high remission rates in FLT3- and IDH1-mutated AML

Andrius Žučenka, MD, Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos, Vilnius, Lithuania, discusses the results of a study combining venetoclax with gilteritinib or ivosidenib for patients with FLT3 or IDH1 mutated acute myeloid leukemia (AML), respectively. He highlights that these regimens were well-tolerated with high complete remission rates, particularly in the IDH1 cohort where response rates were 100%. This interview took place at the 78th American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL.
