Andrius Žučenka, MD, is a Clinical Hematologist and PhD Candidate at Vilnius University, Vilnius, Lithuania.

After obtaining a medical degree from Vilnius University, Dr Žučenka became a Lecturer and Researcher at the same institution. He is also the Head of The Department of Specialized Care For Immunocompromised Patients.

Dr Žučenka has a special interest in the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), bone marrow transplantation, and novel therapies. He focuses on the management of patients with AML and myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), with particular attention to venetoclax-based regimens and FLT3-mutated disease.
