Won Seog Kim, MD, PhD from Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, South Korea talks about the key benefit of introducing biosimilars at the International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma (ICML) 2017 in Lugano, Switzerland. The accessibility of biological agents in underdeveloped countries is very poor. This condemns citizens in those countries to having a poor outcome. The advantage of supplying biosimilars is a reduction in price, which will increase usage in low-income states and improve overall outcome of disease.
