EBMT 2023 | Looking forward to the EBMT 2023 Trainee Day
Claire Horgan, Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester, UK, and Nico Gagelmann, MD, University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Hamburg, Germany, outline the topics that will be discussed at the first in-person Trainee Day that will take place at this year’s EBMT congress. Whilst the first session will focus on trainee initiatives worldwide, as well as on the role and accessibility of CAR-T therapy, the second session will focus on pediatrics and will cover topics including cell and gene therapy, and long-term survivorship. Finally, the third session will be focused on transplant-related morbidity and mortality. This interview took place at the 49th Annual Meeting of the European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) held in Paris, France.
