Chiara Bonini, MD, from San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milano, Italy, gives an overview of the progress that has been made in cell therapy. According to Dr Bonini, at this stage it is important to register data and really understand what is going on in terms of safety and efficacy. The European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) and the new EBMT Registry launched in Valencia, have an important role to play in these next steps according to Dr Bonini.
