Sara Ghorashian, PhD, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, outlines the remaining challenges in the CAR T-cell therapy space. CAR-T therapy is a revolutionary treatment, but numerous obstacles must be overcome to unlock the full potential of CAR-T. Additionally, Dr Ghoashian highlights that the biological principles of these cells need to be better understood to find improved solutions to meet the patients’ needs. This interview took place during the 3rd European CAR T-cell Meeting.
