EHA 2026 | CD22-directed CAR-T for FL, MCL, and other NHL subtypes: toxicity and sequencing insights

Matthew Frank, MD, PhD, Stanford University, Stanford, CA, shares insights into CD22-directed CAR-T therapy in follicular lymphoma (FL), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), and other non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL) subtypes, noting its favorable toxicity profile, although the reason for this remains unknown. Dr Frank highlights that currently, CD22-directed CAR therapy should follow a pre-existing CAR and be guided by the patient’s personal profile. This interview took place at the 31st Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) in Stockholm, Sweden.
