Martin Kaiser, MD, FRCP, FRCPath, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, discusses a single-center real-world analysis of outcomes with BCMA-directed bispecific antibodies following prior treatment with the BCMA antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) belantamab mafodotin. He highlights similar response rates and progression-free survival (PFS) among patients with and without prior BCMA ADC exposure, while noting that high-risk cytogenetics and extramedullary disease were associated with inferior outcomes and that further data are needed to guide treatment sequencing. This interview took place at the 23rd International Myeloma Society (IMS) Annual Meeting in Glasgow, UK.
