ISAL 2023 | The molecular impact of RUNX1 mutations in AML

In this video, Constanze Bonifer, PhD, University of Birmingham, Birmingham, UK, discusses the impact of RUNX1 mutations in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), highlighting the heterogeneity of these mutations. Prof. Bonifer explains that the molecular impact of RUNX1 mutations depends on the nature of the mutation, and further comments on the importance of conducting more research to better understand how these play a role in the pathology of AML. This interview took place at the 18th International Symposium on Acute Leukemias (ISAL XVIII), held in Munich, Germany.
