ERIC 2018 | Therapeutically targeting transcription factors in CLL

Following on from work showing the complete epigenome of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) that identified important regions of dysregulation, Iñaki Martín-Subero, PhD, of the Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer, Barcelona, Spain, and his group continued on with research in this area. Dr Martín-Subero explains the discovery of several key transcription factors that were responsible for the altered chromatin landscape, and highlights the potential to therapeutically target these factors. This Interview took place at the European Research Initiative on CLL (ERIC) International Meeting 2018, held in Barcelona, Spain.
