IMS 2024 | COSMOS: studying the biology of SMM through longitudinal monitoring of patients

Kwee Yong, PhD, FRCP, FRCPath, University College London, London, UK, briefly discusses the COSMOS study, which aims to better understand the biology of smoldering multiple myeloma (SMM) through following longitudinal changes in several parameters, including hemoglobin, renal function, and tumor burden. The aim is to assess how these parameters may relate to immune changes observed in patients. This interview took place at the 21st International Myeloma Society (IMS) Annual Meeting, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
