Claire Roddie, MD, PhD, of University College London (UCL) Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK, explains how UCL have collaborated with Multani Biotech to manufacture multiple CAR-T products with a programmable, standalone instrument. Speaking at the 1st European CAR T-Cell Meeting, held in Paris, France, co-organized by the European Society for Blood & Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) and European Hematology Association (EHA), Dr Roddie discusses how the use of this bench-top instrument has reduced costs and increased efficiency.
