Stephen Strickland, MD, MSCI, Sarah Cannon Research Institute, Nashville, TN, presents data from the Phase I trial (NCT06325748) of SENTI-202, a first-in-class off-the-shelf logic-gated CAR NK-cell therapy, in patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML).Dr Strickland explains that SENTI-202 uses an OR/NOT logic gate gene circuit to selectively target CD33- and/or FLT3-expressing cells while protecting endomucin (EMCN)-expressing healthy hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs). He discusses response rate, safety, and treatment durability, as well as future directions. This presentation took place at the 8th International Workshop on Acute Leukemias (iwAL) in Cambridge, MA.
