Jill Corre
Academic History
Jill Corre, PharmD, PhD, graduated from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Tours, Tours, France, before completing her residency training and specializing in hematology at the Toulouse University Hospital (CHU-Toulouse), Toulouse, France, where she is now a Professor. Dr Corre is the head of the lab in the Unit for Genomics in Myeloma at the University Cancer Institute of Toulouse Oncopole, and she is also an executive member of the Intergroupe Francophone du Myélome and a member of the International Myeloma Society.
Speaking on myeloma genomics and defining high-risk myeloma
Dr Corre’s research focuses on the genomics of multiple myeloma, in particular prognostic factors, and takes place at the Cancer Research Center of Toulouse, where she is the co-head. Dr Corre has published over 80 publications, most in the field of multiple myeloma. She is also the co-author of a patented method of producing a three-dimensional model of human multiple myeloma (Patent number: FR2209990).
