Meletios Dimopoulos, MD, Kapodistrian University of Athens School of Medicine, Athens, Greece, discusses a post-hoc analysis of the Phase III PERSEUS/EMN017 trial (NCT03710603) applying the new IMS/IMWG Consensus Genomic Staging criteria in transplant-eligible, newly diagnosed multiple myeloma. He highlights that daratumumab plus bortezomib, lenalidomide, and dexamethasone (D-VRd) therapy improved outcomes in both high-risk and standard-risk patients, although high-risk disease remained associated with poorer outcomes.
