SOHO 2026 | DALY 2-EU crossover analysis: zamto-cel shows promise in older patients with R/R LBCL

Nirav Niranjan Shah, MD, Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI, discusses a crossover analysis from the randomized DALY 2-EU trial (NCT04844866) evaluating zamtocabtagene autoleucel (zamto-cel), a dual CD19/CD20 CAR T-cell therapy, in older patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL) ineligible for autologous stem cell transplantation. Dr Shah highlights that zamto-cel demonstrated superior outcomes to R-GemOx in the second-line setting. Patients who crossed over to zamto-cel after progression on R-GemOx achieved outcomes comparable with those treated with zamto-cel earlier. This interview took place at the 14th Annual Meeting of the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO 2026) in Houston, TX.
