EHA 2026 | Phase I study of etentamig in R/R AL amyloidosis: safety & efficacy data

Efstathios Kastritis, MD, University of Athens School of Medicine, Athens, Greece, discusses updated Phase I data for etentamig, a novel BCMA×CD3 bispecific antibody, in patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) light chain (AL) amyloidosis. He highlights the therapy’s favorable safety profile, low rates of cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and infections, and encouraging efficacy. He also considers the potential role of T-cell redirecting therapies in transforming the treatment landscape for AL amyloidosis. This interview took place at the 31st Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) in Stockholm, Sweden.
