ASH 2022 | BelaRd: belantamab mafodotin with lenalidomide and dexamethasone in patients with NDMM
Evangelos Terpos, MD, PhD, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens, Greece, outlines preliminary findings from Phase I/II BelaRd study (NCT04808037) which is investigating the safety and clinical activity of belantamab mafodotin in combination with lenalidomide and dexamethasone in transplant-ineligible patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (NDMM). Overall, data has shown that a dose of 1.9 mg/kg belantamab mafodotin once every 8 weeks plus lenalidomide and dexamethasone achieved response in all patients, with no grade 3 or 4 ocular toxicity recorded. This interview took place at the 64th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition congress in New Orleans, LA.
