ERIC 2020 | Future genetic testing with a single combined gene panel for CLL

Richard Rosenquist, MD, PhD, Karolinska University Hospital, Solna, Sweden, discusses the future of genetic testing. Prof. Rosenquist expresses interest in a single combined gene panel that would encompass chromosomal mutations, IgHV mutation status and TP53 mutations. This could be possible within the next few years with the use of capture-based gene panels. This interview took place during the European Research Initiative on CLL (ERIC) International Virtual Meeting 2020.
