Jonathon Cohen, MD, MS, Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA, discusses how prognostic and molecular markers could increasingly inform frontline treatment selection in mantle cell lymphoma (MCL). He highlights the potential role of TP53 status in guiding chemotherapy-free approaches, while high Ki-67, MIPI score and blastoid morphology may help identify patients for novel strategies such as CAR-T therapy, and discusses the future role of measurable residual disease (MRD) in treatment decisions.
