Carlos Fernandez de Larrea, MD, PhD from the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain discusses which techniques can be used to establish disease response in multiple myeloma (MM). For the detection of minimal residual disease (MRD), the most established technique is flow cytometry. In terms of imaging, clear criteria for the evaulation of PET/CT are required.
