Elisabeth Dovern, MD, Amsterdam UMC, Amsterdam, Netherlands, shares insights into azathioprine/hydroxyurea preconditioning prior to non-myeloablative matched sibling donor hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) in adults with sickle cell disease (SCD). This interview took place at the 29th Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) in Madrid, Spain.
