IMS 2026 | Prior anti-CD38 exposure and outcomes with isatuximab in R/R multiple myeloma

Albert Oriol, MD, PhD, Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute, Barcelona, Spain, discusses a post-hoc analysis of the IRAKLIA study (NCT05405166) evaluating isatuximab, pomalidomide and dexamethasone according to prior anti-CD38 antibody exposure for relapsed/refractory (R/R) multiple myeloma. He highlights lower efficacy following prior anti-CD38 treatment, with outcomes improving as the interval between exposures increased, suggesting that alternative treatment targets may be preferable when available. This interview took place at the 23rd International Myeloma Society (IMS) Annual Meeting in Glasgow, UK.
