Giada Bianchi, MD, Brigham and Women’s Hospital & Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, discusses ongoing research in which a mammalian reporter cell line was developed to analyze the proteasome stress response (PSR) in multiple myeloma, and explains how this research may be used to identify novel therapeutic strategies in this disease.
