AACR 2022 | Using lentiviral vectors to generate CAR-T cells

In this video, Sid P. Kerkar, MD, Exuma Biotech, West Palm Beach, FL, discusses the generation of chimeric antigen receptor T-cells (CAR-T) in vivo by injecting lentiviral vectors into lymph nodes, a novel approach being investigated at Exuma Biotech. Dr Kerkar explains how this process is much simpler and more cost-effective than traditional manufacturing processes and the exciting impact that this research may have in the future of hematological malignancies.
