IACH 2021 | Bloodless HSCT: patient selection and practice

Bhagirathbhai Dholaria, MBBS, of Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN, explains the criteria used to select patients eligible for bloodless HSCT and details the process of bloodless HSCT, which includes pre-transplant optimization, G-CSF-mediated stem cell mobilisation and collection, conditioning, and monitoring. Dr Dholaria also emphasizes the importance of managing bleeding complications. This interview took place at the 4th Annual Meeting of the International Academy for Clinical Hematology (IACH), which took place virtually in 2021.
