Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia Leukemia Rare Diseases

Francesco Onida, MD, University of Milan, Milan, Italy, gives an overview of his work with the Chronic Malignancy Working Party (CMWP) and the Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) Committee. Dr Onida, who is responsible for studies in patients with chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML), describes challenges associated with treating CMML due to its heterogeneity and elderly demographic. This interview took place during the 47th Annual Meeting of the European Group for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT) 2021.
