Andrew Kuykendall, MD, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Tampa, FL, discusses factors that predict progression in myeloproliferative neoplasms, including clinical and genetic characteristics that can result in acute leukemia development. Dr Kuykendall also highlights the role of inflammatory cytokines that have been implicated in the development of MPNs.
