Shernan Holtan, MD, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, shares her thoughts on the potential of social media in disseminating scientific ideas to a wider audience. With advances in technology, it is now possible to reach patients, families, caregivers, and patient advocacy groups through social media platforms, to share ideas and generate discussions with the goal of improving patients’ lives. This interview took place at the Transplantation & Cellular Therapy (TCT) Meetings of ASTCT™ and CIBMTR® 2022 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
