Tiffany Richards, MS, ANP, AOCNP, MD Anderson Cancer Center, San Antonio, Texas, highlights the essential role of nurses in the management of patients with multiple myeloma. Ms Richards explains that nurses are involved in educating patients about therapies, communicating with patients, coordinating their care, and managing their disease in the context of comorbidities and other medications patients may receive.
