In this video, Robin Foà, MD, Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy, discusses the rate of CNS relapse being observed in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Prof. Foà highlights ongoing research which is evaluating whether certain genes may predispose patients to CNS relapse, which may then allow clinicians to identify patients in need of more effective CNS prophylaxis. This interview took place at the 18th International Symposium on Acute Leukemias (ISAL XVIII), held in Munich, Germany.
