iwCAR-T 2023 | Rapid CAR manufacture
In this session chaired by Caron Jacobson, MD, MMSc, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, Matthew Frigault, MD, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, and Valentín Ortiz-Maldonado, MD, Hospital Clinic de Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain, have a fascinating discussion on the rapid manufacturing of CAR T-cells. The experts comment on the regulatory environment for cell manufacturing in Spain and in the US, discussing strategies for improving access to these therapies, before moving on to T-cell stemness and in vivo CARs. This discussion took place at the 5th International Workshop on CAR-T (iwCAR-T) 2023 held in Scottsdale, AZ.
