Academic History
Caron Jacobson, MD, MMSc, is an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, and the Medical Director of the Immune Engineered Cell Therapy Program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA.
Dr Jacobson obtained her medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons, New York, NY, followed by Internal Medicine Residency Training/Chief Residency. She then moved to Boston for Fellowship Training in hematology/oncology at Dana-Farber/Mass General Cancer Center.
Speaking on CAR-T therapy in lymphoma
Dr Jacobson has a research interest in immunotherapies for lymphoma, particularly B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). She speaks on the evolving role of CAR-T cells in the lymphoma treatment landscape and how their manufacture and accessibility can be improved.
