Well, it was a great honour, of course, and an absolutely overwhelming honour to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. And my first thought was, well, I’m not old enough to get that. But I think there have been so many advances in this field, and that’s also marked by the wonderful award of the Ernest Beutler Prize to Radek Skoda and Ruben Mesa at ASH also this year. So I think it’s really about the MPN field. And I would say that although it’s a personal lifetime achievement award, really it’s a team MPN award. So well done and a big clap to everyone in the field. And that’s also about the key discoveries that we’ve had in the last 20 years: driver mutations closely followed by mutation-targeted or at least pathway-targeted therapies and then moving now towards the era of disease modification marked at EHA for example by calreticulin data, also the data from the SENTRY study. And we’ll also see the data with AJAX, a more specific JAK inhibitor, which I think is super exciting and very important for patients. I think the field has also progressed a lot through several key facets. One, it is the most incredibly collaborative, friendly field. And you achieve things much more in collaboration. Everything is a team effort. And that includes collaboration between clinicians, scientists, pharma, but also really importantly, patients. And our field has incredibly strong patient advocates who work tirelessly with clinicians and with the rest of the community to make sure the patient voice is heard. So a massive call out to everybody and huge acknowledgement to them.
