Kjeld Schmiegelow, MD, Rigshospitalet University Hospital, Copenhagen, Denmark, discusses the management of patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) with central nervous disease (CNS), highlighting the challenges associated with the diagnosis of CNS disease and commenting on the use of flow cytometry to identify leukemic blasts in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). This interview took place at the Tenth Annual Meeting of the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO) held in Houston, TX.
