This interview took place at the 24th Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) 2019, held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The iwCLL meeting is the biennial meeting of CLL specialists, scientists interested in CLL. So this year, it’s going to be held in Edinburgh in September so we’re expecting probably over 1,000 people interested in CLL at the meeting. The abstracts of, we’ve got a large number of abstracts. The iwCLL meeting is the biennial meeting of CLL specialists, scientists interested in CLL. So this year, it’s going to be held in Edinburgh in September so we’re expecting probably over 1,000 people interested in CLL at the meeting. The abstracts of, we’ve got a large number of abstracts. It’s a very nice looking program so we’re trying to integrate the biology of CLL with the very rapid changes in treatment in CLL but we’re also including a young investigators’ meeting before the meeting which is always very popular and, for this year, we’re having speakers from around the world, so from Africa, from China, from South America, from India, to get an update to CLL in those countries so that we make it a truly international affair.
