CAR-T Meeting 2023 | Nursing highlights from the 5th European CAR T-cell Meeting

We have a great program lined up for the meeting. I’m really excited and it’s really broad and I think shows the growth and development of CAR-T and the nurse’s role within that, over the last five years. I actually can’t believe that we are already at the 5th CAR-T Meeting, but then we see how much has changed within that five years, at the ward level is actually very, very exciting...

We have a great program lined up for the meeting. I’m really excited and it’s really broad and I think shows the growth and development of CAR-T and the nurse’s role within that, over the last five years. I actually can’t believe that we are already at the 5th CAR-T Meeting, but then we see how much has changed within that five years, at the ward level is actually very, very exciting. So we’ve got sessions on rehab and pre-habilitation, so making sure patients are optimized before and following CAR-T to enhance their recovery. But also when nurses look after CAR-T patients, there are often some ethical challenges that go along with that treatment. And so we are including those sessions in as well with some really healthy debates.
