BSH 2024 | The impact of living with chronic GvHD and the nurse’s perspective on treating these patients

Michelle Kenyon, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London, provides a summary of her talk at the 50th Annual Meeting of the EBMT in which she discussed the burden of living with chronic graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and gave a nurse’s perspective of how to care for patients with this condition. Healthcare professionals (HCPs) need to understand the extent of the physical, psychological, and financial toll of living with chronic GvHD in order to be better informed when caring for those affected. This interview took place at the 64th Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Society for Haematology (BSH) Congress in Liverpool, UK.
